THE UN-WEDDING blog launched in 2016 by Melissa Woods – former party girl turned mum of 2, in a bid to help channel some of her crazy in between picking up toys, crumbs, and cushions…. and also out of the boredom of seeing the same things over and over again, when it comes to weddings.

Whilst working as a makeup artist, Melissa realised that a lot of brides appeared to have been programmed into thinking that their wedding/style needed to be a certain way. Thinking back to her own wedding, beautiful as it was, she knew she had fallen into the same trap in many ways.

THE UN-WEDDING is a platform to encourage and inspire the brides of the future to break the mould, be more creative, forget the outdated and MAKE NEW TRADITIONS!
