I didn’t go travelling after uni. I chose to concentrate on my career and although I don’t regret this decision I have always had a deep desire to travel the world. This has led me to create a bucket list of wild and wonderful destinations I hope to be lucky enough to visit one day.

About: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, or simply Chengdu Panda Base, is a non-profit research and breeding facility for giant pandas and other rare animals. It is located in Chengdu, Sichuan, China and allows visitors to spend time with the majestic Panda. Accompanied by a professional panda keeper, visitors can stroll through the baby and adult panda areas and gain fascinating insight into the behavior, mating habits and physiology of the creatures.

About: Giraffe Manor is a small hotel in the Lang’ata suburb of Nairobi, Kenya which, together with its associated Giraffe Centre, serves as a home to a number of endangered Rothschild giraffes. The Manor was built in 1932 and modelled on a Scottish hunting lodge when Nairobi was still a British colony. Giraffe Manor now serves as a small private hotel where guests can feed the giraffes from their breakfast table, through the front door, and out of their 2nd story bedroom window.
