They say a picture is worth a thousand words; and this series of photographs embodies this phrase.

In a society where Instagram is used to not only take the occasional “selfie” or enhance a picture from last night’s antics, but to tell a story, I found myself drawn into a tale of love between Murad Osmann, a London-based photographer, and his girlfriend Nataly Zakharova, as he invites her to ‘follow me’ around the world.

“For me photography is about capturing things other people might miss. It’s a way to communicate.” – Osmann explains, and we can clearly see this as he documents his travels creatively, letting Zakharova lead the way in a story that has sparked global attention.

The Russian photographer composes each shot in the same manner: from his point of view, his girlfriend’s hand reaching out behind her to lead him toward the scene captured in the background.

While you never see Osmann’s girlfriends face, you seek comfort and passion in their story as they narrate their adventures through pictures, from destinations such as Disney World, Time’s Square, Brick Lane and Venice.

Osmann and Zakjarova have become global stars thanks to the series of stunning shots of which I can’t wait to see more of!
